ray of courage beta 0.9 update


alright, so beta 0.9 is finally out, here's a quick list of what was added and what i ended up changing my mind on or putting off till later

ADDED

  • player health
  • saving and loading
  • boss fights
  • final boss
  • level system
  • new music
  • playable tank after final boss
  • mission briefing ( still more of a loading screen )
  • shield enemy
  • zombie enemy ( only in wave mode )
  • wave mode ( called "front" )
  • new game over screen 
  • campaign set during battle of somme
  • removed possibility of level beginnings and ends being blocked off ( at least i think )
  • slight change in chunks layout for levels
  • maybe some other stuff, idk

CHANGED MIND ON

  • multiplayer of any kind

PUT OFF TILL LATER

  • perma-death
  • multiple save files

QUICK EDIT

i forgot to mention in the added section that there is now a crt shader that starts toggled off ( it can be toggled on in the settings ).

oh, and i'm unable to make a macos port for, well i don't really know why it's not working, sorry.
